Terms and Agreements and Nature of Faith Based Marriage Mediation
Terms and Agreements and Nature of Faith Based Marriage Mediation The XO Marriage faith-based mediation combines cognitive tools and techniques with Biblical principles. Positive approaches to problems are taken, believing that people are resilient and have resources to address life circumstances. It is the role of the marriage mediator to help married couples understand the dynamics of their situation, the power of God in their lives, and to assist them in using their particular strengths to address these issues. This program was designed to train you in our exclusive method for marriage mediation. This program is not designed to equip you or supplement you with training for licensed counseling or accredited legal mediation, including court ordered divorce or custody mediation. Your level of success in attaining the results claimed in our materials depends on the time you devote to the program, investing in your business and continuing to perfect the knowledge and skills taught during your training. Since these factors differ according to individuals, XO Marriage, or any program instructor, cannot guarantee your success in any level or any income level. Nor are we legally liable for your marriage mediation practice and clients. By enrolling in this program you agree not to present yourself as licensed or credentialed in any matter regarding counseling or mediation unless you have obtained the proper licensing or credentialing through the applicable authoritative body. Global Directory: Once students are certified under the XO Mediator Institute, they will have the option to join the Global Directory of Marriage Mediators. XO Marriage reserves the right to remove a listing from the Global Directory at any time, including but not limited to, finding that a Marriage Mediator is not abiding to the Mediator Code of Ethics listed on the Training Manual. The Directory is part of the certification Network and does not guarantee any income stream or clients to the independent Marriage Mediator.

I acknowledge that I've read the XO Marriage Promise Statement and agree with the Terms and Agreements described.
If you have participated in a marriage intensive with an XO Coach in the past year, we recommend waiting 1 year from your intensive participation before registering for Marriage Intensive Certification Training (MICT). This will allow the tools you learned to take root and experience the continued transformation in your relationship.
If you choose to move forward with MICT registration and we deem you not relationally ready, XO Institute's cancellation policy will apply.
